This year's CMBA hosted umpire clinic is scheduled for

Saturday April 14, 2018 at

Temple Baptist Church,

 400 Holiday Inn Drive,

 Cambridge Ontario

 9am to 4pm

All umpires registering for this clinic need to be aware that CMBA will no longer cover the initial cost of the clinic and that fees will need to be paid at the sign-in desk the day of this clinic (MUST BE REGISTERED prior). All Level 1 fees are $25, and Level 2 fees are $45. A pizza lunch will be provided. Please note that the clinic runs the duration and that it is not possible to arrive late, or to to leave early. If you are unable to commit to this time on April 14th, please register at another OBA clinic offering an alternative date.

Fees may be reimbursed at the end of the season. This is to prevent CMBA incurring costs for an increasing number of umpires who register, complete the clinic, are given a uniform and equipment, and then fail to supply any reasonable availability to officiate at games. The fees are not charged by CMBA, but by the Ontario Baseball Association which provides the clinicians and course materials.
Level 3 umpires (umpires in their 6th season of more) will write the online exam which should be on the OBA site in mid-March. Your UIC, Mike Gouthro, would like to have a group meeting with Level 3's (who wish to) before they complete their exam and will send out an email with a date, time and venue
